Here
you can see that almost all of the soot that was visable in
the previous photo has burned off.
The last remaining soot is only visable in the bottom of the
pour cup.
The last
tell tale sign of the soot from the wax burn out. This flask
is almost ready to pour. The next step, which has already
begun, is the preheat of the foundry unit and the melting
of the aluminum for the pour.
